During periods of high visitor influx, admission to the Museums may experience delays due to security measures. Access to the Museum is regulated based on the number of people inside. Please note that only water bottles of 500ml or smaller are permitted inside the museum. Drinking is strictly prohibited in the exhibition rooms. Furthermore, as part of the security procedure, the authorities at the metal detector will confiscate all bottled or canned beverages.


There may be restrictions

Please note that Uffizi Gallery tickets are nominative, so each booking must include all participants’ details, along with a valid phone number and email to ensure correct ticket and app guide delivery.

Please note that all participants must present a valid ID (passport or national ID) matching the booking name to access the museum, otherwise entry may be denied without refund.

Please note that the two elevators located in the East wing of the Uffizi Gallery (at the Grand Ducal Staircase) are not accessible to the public due to ongoing works.

The Grand Ducal Staircase consists of 4 ramps and a total of 126 steps.

Visitors who are unable to climb the stairs and need to use the lift should go to the Grand Ducal Staircase, where they will be accompanied by staff to the lifts located at the Lanzi Staircase in the West Wing. This includes disabled visitors in an organised group accompanied by 1 other person, disabled visitors in a family unit of up to 5 people, people with reduced mobility, disabled visitors who require walking aids, pregnant women, families with children in pushchairs up to a maximum of 5 people.

Customers having guided tours must meet the guide first and then follow the indications to access the museum.
