Scuba Diving for Beginners at St. Nicholas Beach
This is a trial scuba diving experience designed for beginners to enjoy and explore the underwater world.
After you have been picked up from your resort, you will be driven to St Nicholas for your scuba diving session with our professional diving school. It is a 30-minute drive from Zakynthos Town through Argassi and Vasilikos. On arrival at St Nicholas Beach, the first order of the day will be filling out a medical form given to you by one of the instructors and you will be given a lecture on diving procedures.
After that, you are given a tutorial period of 15 minutes before being split into groups and taken into the water for your first dive. Actual diving time is 15-20 minutes.
Underwater photos/video will be taken for this momentous occasion (This is at an extra cost). For those of you accompanying divers and not wishing to scuba dive you will be able to relax on the lovely sandy beach. Refreshments and snacks are available at the scuba diving club. There are also watersports available on the beach but are not linked to the excursion package. For safety reasons, you are advised not to dive 24 hours before your flight home, due to the differences in altitude and air pressure. You will leave at around 5 pm and be transferred back to your resort.
