San José city tour

This tour shows you the culture and history of Costa Rica through visits to museums and historical sites in the city of San José.


On this tour we will visit sites of historical interest such as the National Theater, a national monument built by Costa Rican hands in 1897, also known as "The jewel of San José", the Costa Rican Gold Museum (site of great archaeological interest), as well as several stops at different points of importance in the city, such as: The University of Costa Rica, the old train station, the National Liquor Factory, the Supreme Electoral Tribunal, the Legislative Assembly, the Metallic Building and some parks.


We will visit the Central Market a place full of Costa Rican heritage and cultural traditions, where you can visit and buy some local crafts. In short, an introduction to our capital city, as well as information on topics of great relevance including economy, culture, politics, religion, and current affairs in general.


We will also visit a beautiful handicraft shop, where you can get beautiful souvenirs to take back home; We will also visit the Metropolitan Cathedral.
