Private Reykjanes Tour

We leave Reykjavik towards the peninsula of Reykjanes and cross the towns Garðabær and Hafnafjörður. Once we pass the aluminium smelter in Hafnafjörður we make a left and enter into the peninsula. The first stop is lake Kleifarvatn which is not connected to any river but receives and looses its water underground. After passing lava fields you visit the geothermal areas of Krýsuvík and Gunnuhver. In the fishing village of Grindavík you can enjoy a lobster soup as lunch before reaching the bridge between continents where you can walk from America to Europe and back in just a few seconds or stand on both continents at once.
