The Dallara Academy is much more than an educational and exhibition center: it is an immersive experience in the heart of the Motor Valley, where a passion for speed meets cutting-edge technology. Inaugurated on September 21, 2018, in Varano de' Melegari (Parma), the Academy occupies over 5,500 square meters within a bold, modern building, born from the vision of Engineer Giampaolo Dallara to share the wealth of expertise developed over 50 years of history.
Designed by Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia, winner of the invited competition for the project, the facility stands out for its unique architecture, conceived as a "harmonious composition of mechanical parts," where nothing is left to chance. A spectacular glass spiral ramp connects the two floors: the ground floor houses the public reception areas and workshops for schools; The upper floor houses the MUNER lecture halls and a 350-seat auditorium for conferences and events.
But the true heart of the Dallara Academy is the exhibition, where visitors can admire up close the legendary cars that have shaped the history of Dallara and the car manufacturer: from the Miura to the X19, from American IndyCars to Le Mans prototypes, including Formula 3, Formula E, and the iconic Dallara Stradale. All this is immersed in an architectural setting that opens onto the Val Ceno landscape, thanks to the spectacular glass wall that follows the curve of the ramp.
