Imperial Vienna Private Tour from Budapest

Vienna’s streets appear to be paved in gold at least that is the impression you are left with when you see the opulence of its main boulevard, the famous Ringstrasse with its grand buildings, statues and monuments. Your guide will highlight to you the most important sights of Vienna and show you the City Park, State Opera House, the Museums of Fine Arts and Natural History, the Parliament, the Burg Theatre, the City Hall and the Votive Church.

Stretch your legs with a short walk to the most beautiful parts of the city centre. Among the sights you will see are the Museum Quarter; the Hofburg Palace which was home to the rulers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Habsburgs; Kärtner Strasse a most famous shopping street; Saint Stephan’s Cathedral and more. Afterwards you are allowed time for shopping in the elegant pedestrian area or there is an opportunity to visit Schönbrunn Palace or any other museums of your choosing. Alternatively, you can explore the well-known amusement park, the Prater.

On the return back to Hungary, there will be a stop to take a look at the remarkable Hundertwasser House, an apartment block that was converted from its traditional form into a fantastical creation by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
