Tour to Trakai castle

Tour to the medieval capital of Lithuania – Trakai starts from Hotel reception with private guide and by car/minivan. Trakai is a small and quiet town, surrounded by lakes. In ancient times it was called Town on Water. Visit the Trakai Castle, the only Eastern European castle that was built up on an island. Take a stroll along the Karaimu street in which you can see wooden single-storey houses - an ethnographic treasure - of Karaites who were brought from the Crimea in the 14th century by the Grand Duke Vytautas. Return to hotel at the end of excursion
