Itinerary

7:45am – Pick up from Club Hotel Eilat. Central pick-up allows us to cross the border earlier and spend more time in Jordan

8am– Border crossing into Jordan with border assistance (via the Arava Border Crossing)

9am – Travel north along the Jordanian Desert highway to the city of Petra stopping en route for a view of Mt Haroun (Aaron's Tomb)

11:30am – Arrive in Petra, and begin tour of the UNESCO Heritage Site

2pm – Enjoy some free time in Petra

4pm – Meet at the exit of Petra

4:45pm – Drive back south past Wadi Rum

6:30pm – Arrive back at the border

7:30pm – Cross back into Israel and transfer to Eilat, drop off at our centralized location

Please note that the border crossing fee of US$70 (230 NIS), which should be paid in cash or by credit card on the Israeli side, and the visa fee of $60, which should be paid in cash (USD or JOD) on the Jordanian side.

Border fee is for departure tax from Israel, the departure tax for operated groups from Jordan, arrangement, and preparation of Jordan visa, assistance service from border representative on departure from Israel, assistance service from border representative on arrival in Jordan, and assistance service from border representative on departure from Jordan.

Israeli passport holders (or holders of dual passports with an Israeli passport) must use their Israeli passport at every border crossing.
