Exclusive After Hours Schönbrunn Palace Tour, Dinner and Concert

Explore the majestic Schönbrunn Palace after hours, one of Vienna’s most important cultural monuments and a truly spectacular royal residence.

We offer the palace tour exclusively after the regular opening hours of the palace for both individuals and groups. Individual guests visit the private chambers and ceremonial rooms of the palace. For groups of 20 or more people, an exclusive guided tour by one of the Palace's guides is available.

Enjoy a prestigious afternoon in one of the most stunning locations in the whole of Vienna, as you walk in the footsteps of the former monarchs of the Habsburg Dynasty. It´s amazing to think that this impressive palace was a wedding gift and was used as a summer residence by Empress Maria Theresa, and the longest-reigning emperor of Austria, Franz Joseph, I spent most of his days here on the sprawling grounds.

Dinner

The dinner takes place at 6:30 pm in the Café Restaurant Gerstner close to Schönbrunn Palace (drinks not included during dinner).

After the 3-course dinner, the guests will go to the Orangery to enjoy the highlight of the evening: the Schoenbrunn Palace Concerts.

Concert at Schönbrunn Palace Orangery

Frequently the venue for lavish festivities during the Habsburgs’ rule featuring performances from Mozart, the setting has been beautifully restored to its former glory. Today, the Orangery provides the perfect setting for classical concerts and has become an integral part of Vienna's cultural and musical life.

Travel back in time as you listen to the soothing classical sounds of Strauss and Mozart in the most unique and perfect setting and be swept away by the magic of the angelic voices.

On selected days, concerts may take place in the Great Gallery or the White Gold Room located inside Schönbrunn Palace, at the Schönbrunn Palace Theater, or in other concert halls in Vienna.

As with most of Vienna's historic concert venues, seats are not numbered. The evening staff will be responsible for seating you according to your category. If you have made a group booking, you will be seated together. Please note that the admission starts 30 minutes before the concert. We kindly request you to be punctual.

Your 3-course typical Austrian Dinner will take place in the Café Restaurant Gerstner.

Category VIP - Seating in the front rows

Category A - Seating towards the front of the concert hall

Category B - Seating in the middle of the concert hall

Category C - Seating towards the rear of the concert hall

Inclusions

• Category A: A glass of sparkling wine or orange juice per person at our concert bar.

• Category VIP: Priority access ("skip the line") at both the concert bar and the entrance to the concert hall, seats in the front rows, free coat check, an exclusive VIP program booklet, and a glass of sparkling wine.

5:15 pm – Arrive at the meeting point in front of the main entrance of Schönbrunn Palace

5:30 pm - Enjoy a Palace Tour

6:30 pm - Dinner at the Café Restaurant Gerstner Schönbrunn

8:30 pm - Concert begins in the Orangery Schönbrunn

Ticket redemption instructions

The concert usually takes place at the Schönbrunn Orangery. On selected dates it might take place at the White-and-Gold-Room or at the Great Gallery directly inside the Palace main building.

Your Hotelbeds Ticket is your entrance ticket for the Palace Tour, the Dinner and the Concert. Please show it to the employee who will greet you at the entrance of the Schönbrunn Palace.

Please note that there are no assigned seat numbers at the concert venue. The guests can choose the category and when they get there it’s first come first served.
