Day Trip from Rome to Tuscany by High Speed Train: Medieval Towns & Chianti Wine Tasting

Experience the natural charm of Tuscany on a tour from Florence to San Gimignano, Chianti, Siena, and Monteriggioni, with a wine tasting. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure into the Chianti hills and the Tuscany's medieval towns of San Gimignano, Siena, and Monteriggioni.

Your day trip begins with a scenic drive through the Chianti hills, that will take you to our first stop, Monteriggioni. Here, enjoy your free time to explore this beautifully preserved medieval town, with its ancient walls still perfectly intact.

Afterwards, you will head towards Siena, where our guide will be waiting for you for a guided tour of the historical centre. Before lunch, you will visit the exterior of the Palazzo Pubblico, the Torre dei Mangia and the iconic Piazza del Duomo.

Your third destination is San Gimignano, renowned as the City of Towers and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its impressive array of surviving medieval towers.

Finally, after a free visit in San Gimignano's old town, we conclude our tour in the picturesque Chianti Hills. Here, in this bucolic landscape, you will visit a traditional winery for a tasting of Chianti red wine and some local tapas, the perfect finale to our adventure.
