Budapest Highlights with Madame Tussauds Visit
Discover the most important sights of Budapest with your tour guide during this 3‑hour city tour. Let us show you the main attractions on both sides of the River Danube. Enjoy a pleasant walk around the Castle District and see the top landmarks of Pest.
We begin the tour from our office. From there, we pass by the impressive Parliament Building and cross the Margaret Bridge to the Buda side. Our first stop is the Castle District, where a short guided walk introduces you to the area’s highlights. We visit the magnificent Matthias Church and the Fishermen’s Bastion, offering one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the city.
Next, we head back to Pest across the Elisabeth Bridge to show you the famous Central Market Hall and the largest synagogue in Europe, the Great Synagogue on Dohány Street. We continue towards the City Park, passing the renowned Széchenyi Thermal Bath and the Budapest Zoo, before stopping at Heroes’ Square, home to statues of Hungary’s most important kings and dukes.
We then take the elegant Andrássy Avenue back to downtown Pest, passing by the Opera House and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Throughout the tour, your guide provides a brief yet insightful overview of 1,000 years of Hungarian history.
The tour ends in the city center.
