Amman and Jerash City Tour
Enjoy a private day tour to the downtown part of the capital city Amman, visiting sites and museums.
We will pick up from your hotel in Amman for a 2-hour tour of the capital city of Jordan. Your visit includes sites and museums such as the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The citadel, the blue mosque and the Amphitheatre.
Then we will head to Jerash for a 2-hour visit of the ancient Roman city with a local English-speaking guide.
Jerash is considered the “Pompeii of the East” and one of the Decapolis “the Famous 10 Greco-Roman Cities”.
Located 45km north to Amman, Jerash is the best preserved example of Roman Civilization in Jordan.
The major highlights are: Arc de Triumph or Hadrian’s Arch, The Hippodrome, the oval square, the colonnaded street, the temple of Aphrodite, Temples of Artemis and Zeus and the Roman theater, The Nymphaeum, 14 Churches from early Christian-Byzantine era, some Umayyad and Mamluks settlements.
After the visit we will transfer you back to your hotel in Amman.
