Hot to use your Tokyo Subway ticket
Please collect a physical ticket from a ticket vending machine at Tokyo Metro/Toei Metro Subway stations. If there is no vending machine at your departure station, please ask the station staff and you will be directed to a station where there is a vending machine to collect the physical ticket.
Once the physical ticket has been collected, the validity period and time will be printed on the ticket when you use it to pass through the gate. If you enter the station and board the train within the valid time, you can still leave the station even if the valid time has passed.
