Secret Food Tour within the heart of Paris – Notre Dame
What you'll do
On our Secret Food Tour: Paris - Notre Dame "The Heart of Paris", we’ll take you on a culinary journey across the birthplace of the French capital. On this tour, you'll enjoy a variety of magnificent classic French food, such as freshly baked viennoiseries, some of the best cheeses you have ever tasted, savoury pastries and tarts, scrumptious desserts, and of course, our Secret Dish.
During our tour, you will walk through medieval streets passing by many famous landmarks, such as the Wall of Philip Augustus, the Notre Dame, the Panthéon, and more! You will realise how the locals live in this part of Paris and how its history has influenced its gastronomy.
Quality drinks will be served at some stops, however if you would like more, a thoughtfully curated Upgraded Drink Package is available.
Itinerary
First, you’ll be welcomed with a freshly baked ‘welcome bite’.
Then, you will cross the Seine River and reach Île Saint-Louis, the cradle of the ancient Roman city of Lutecia, grabbing a macaron on the go, just because it's Paris and we can.
Crossing the Seine River again you will reach Île de la Cité, where the Notre Dame Cathedral stands, before using ‘Le Petit Pont’, the smallest of the 37 bridges along the Seine, to reach the Latin Quarter where a cheesemonger and bakery await us.
After collecting more food we will reach our secret location for a well deserved feast filled with flavours, aromas, stories about French culture and gastronomy, and of course, wine.
As with all our tours, there's also a delicious Secret Dish.
