Santorini Panorama: Oia, Megalochori, Akrotiri's lighthouse, Beaches - Private Tour

We will start in the northern part of the island and embrace the best of Oia village. Unique in every way with iconic blue domed churches, scenic pathways, stunning views and the most spectacular sunset. One of the most photographed places in Greece, Oia is situated on the top of an impressive cliff and offers a spectacular view over the volcano and the Aegean Sea. The village has several cultural attractions such as The Maritime museum, traces of a Venetian fortress and Captain's houses.

Continue your trip and wander through the picturesque pathways of the Megalochori traditional village. This settlement is made of hundreds of small white-painted houses with exquisite architecture, tiny alleys, tower bells, beautiful blue domed chapels and underground cave houses. In this picturesque and non-touristic environment.

At the extreme Southwest part of Santorini visit the Akrotiri's lighthouse. Built by a French company in 1892, it’s considered one of the most beautiful of the Cycladic Islands and a unique point to watch the sunset. Standing on the edge of a high cliff right above the sea, its position is ideal for taking panoramic pictures and admiring Santorini's famous Caldera from a different point of view.

The next destination at the Red Beach, the most unique natural beach of the island, where red is the dominant color. This wonderful volcanic landscape will capture your complete attention.

Head further to the Southernmost part of Santorini and relax at Perissa-Perivolos Black Beach. It is the longest and most famous beach in Santorini and a unique sight of the volcanic island. Lase in the black lava sand, swim in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea and you will have the opportunity to taste traditional dishes in a seaside traditional taverna (optional).

Head up to the Mountain of Prophet Elias and admire the most breathtaking view from the island's highest peak. From this vantage point, you will enjoy a striking view of the entire island. The Mountain's name is Profitis Ilias (Prophet Elias), coming from the Monastery with the same name on its peak, built-in 1711. Whilst in this stunning and peaceful environment, you may as well taste wine and local products made by the monks, who reside at the monastery.
