The Valley of the Moon is a stunning natural attraction, sculpted by water and wind. Their erosive effects on the terrain have created whimsical formations of cones and craters that resemble a lunar landscape. Several trails lead into the heart of the valley, offering breathtaking views of the Andes Mountains. Visitors may also spot lizards and viscachas, the latter a typical Andean species. The underground tourist information center provides details on the area's geological history and the various trails.
In addition to its natural beauty, the Valley of the Moon also offers visitors a unique cultural and spiritual experience. An indigenous shaman performs traditional ceremonies here, using remedies made from plants found in the mountains surrounding the valley.
We will also visit Plaza Murillo, the Killi Killi viewpoint, Witches' Street, Haen Street, and two cable car lines.
