Kinabalu Park and Canopy Walkway - Full-Day Tour

The journey is often part of the adventure and our two-hour scenic drive to Kinabalu Park passes villages and paddy fields along mountainous roads that wind along the Crocker Range. Briefly we stop at Nabalu Market where locals gather to sell local produce, fruits, home grown vegetables and handicraft souvenirs. Upon arrival at Kinabalu Park, we enjoy the refreshing and cooling air on a walk along the nature trails in the Botanical Garden and on a clear day we may be able to spot Mount Kinabalu.

Next, we transfer about 60 minutes to Poring Hot Springs where you will find the open-air Japanese style baths. The sulphuric minerals of these natural hot springs are believed to have therapeutic qualities that relieve muscle aches and pains.

Here we also experience the Canopy Walkway which consists of two canopy bridges, 41 metres above ground and spanning a length of 157 metres and this location is reached by a 20-minute hike.

Afterwards we transfer back to Kota Kinabalu (taking about three hours).

Important information

As Poring Hot Spring is a public area, there may be big crowds during weekends and public holidays.

Please note that swimming in the hot springs is not recommended due to toilet and pool hygiene.
