Isla Negra and Pomaire - Full-Day Tour

Pablo Neruda built his most iconic house, with his most important collection of art, he collected around the world in his numerous travels. With an incomparable view, and through the different rooms that his house-museum possesses, with each object, he invites visitors to dive into his vision and thoughts. Continuing this full-day guided tour will go along the coast to the north to visit San Alfonso del Mar that has the longest swimming pool in the world. To finish, visit the traditional town of Pomaire, known for being one of the main places to find crafts of clay. Here you can enjoy lunch of typical Chilean food (at your own expense). From your hotel you take the highway called “Carretera del Sol” (highway of the sun). It takes around 1.5-hours from Santiago to Isla Negra. On the road we see some typical landscapes from the central region of Chile in general dedicated in the agriculture activity, later visit Neruda Fundation with the most emblematic museum of the 3 houses of Neruda. This is an unique museum as it is the most important part of the private collection of the poet. Stay around 1.5-hours at the museum. After, continue around some little towns that are popular vacation spots like El Tabo, El Quisco.

Later return to lunch at Pomaire. Enjoy a lunch with typical Chilean dishes (not included). Later do a walking tour around different stores to see the variety of designs made by local artists.
