Explore Lapland by Snowmobile - Half-Day Tour

This is our longest snowmobile safari, with a driving distance of between 50 and 70 km or approximately three hours. Experience the thrill and excitement of snowmobiling through snowy forests and beautiful nature. Lapland is probably the best paradise for guided snowmobile tours in the world. The unique, diverse Arctic landscape makes for a surreal experience, and the snowmobile is the perfect means to reach deep into the wild of Lapland.

Levi is one of Northern Finland's most prominent trademarks, extending for kilometres and kilometres. The majestic pine forests and frozen lakes of Lapland will serve as your highway. The size of our groups is kept to a minimum, with the speed and length of the safari varying according to the needs of each group. These safaris are therefore suitable for families as well as those seeking a genuine adrenaline rush. This longer snowmobile safari offers an opportunity to explore more remote areas of the region, with the chance to appreciate some truly beautiful and unforgettable landscapes. The total distance covered on this safari is 50-70 kilometres, with scheduled photo stops. The three-hour safari is one of the most popular options in the area. The snowmobile trail will take you to some of the most beautiful locations in Lapland.

The snowmobile safari takes you deeper into the Lappish wilderness. The guide will provide you with safety instructions about driving the snowmobile.

Snowmobile Liability & Requirements

  • The driver is responsible for any damage, with a maximum liability of €950 per person per snowmobile in case of an accident.
  • You can reduce this liability to €150 by purchasing additional insurance for €15, which must be bought before the tour starts.
  • The insurance is personal and valid for one snowmobile experience only.
  • A valid physical Class B driving license is required to drive. Provisional licenses or photos are not accepted, and the license must be readable in English.
  • If you do not bring your license, you cannot drive and no refund will be given.
  • Two adults share one snowmobile by default; single driving is available for an additional fee.
  • Children (1–14 years) ride in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. For safety, we recommend that one parent sits with young children in the sledge.
  • Children over 140 cm may ride as a passenger on a snowmobile, subject to availability, at a full adult price.
