Discover the Mouth of the São Francisco River - Full-Day Tour

An exciting ride along the south coast to where the São Francisco River, known as "Velho Chico", meets the sea.

On site, you can book a boat trip with a local guide who will tell you about the history of the region and take you to the beautiful golden dunes of Foz do Rio São Francisco, where you can take a refreshing swim.

Soon after, we have the option of a typical lunch at Restaurante Maraná, which has the infrastructure of a garden full of images and statues that refer to the people and personalities of our Sertão. Typical regional cuisine is served on the riverbank.

Once you arrive at the destination, swim in the waters of the largest truly Brazilian river, discover local handicrafts, climb the shifting dunes and take beautiful photographs in this breathtaking landscape. There are no optional tours on site as it is an environmental preservation area, it is there where sea turtles lay their eggs.
