Bavarian Mountains Tour
Passing the old baroque city of Salzburg along the Salzach River we head towards the magnificent Alps crossing the German border. Following the Kings Lake-Ache our journey takes you to Obersalzberg where the second headquarters of the Third Reich used to be.
The highlight of this tour is the visit of Kings Lake, embedded among the steep and imposing mountains of the Bavarian Alps. The most famous of these peaks is the legendary Watzmann. Spend some time walking along the shores of the lake enjoying the spectacular views or explore the little lake side village.
On our return trip there will be a stop-over at the picturesque town of Berchtesgaden where you can taste some Bavarian specialties (consumption not included).
