An Evening at Schoenbrunn - Palace Visit and Concert

This package takes you back to times long past! We offer the palace tour exclusively after the regular opening hours of the palace for both individuals and groups. Individual guests visit the private chambers and ceremonial rooms of the palace using an audioguide. We provide a guide for groups of 20 or more people.

Admire the magnificent architecture and exquisite décor as you walk through the staterooms and apartments where Empress Maria Theresa and Emperor Franz Joseph I lived and breathed. With the help of your audioguide or guide, centuries of history will come to life before your eyes and you’ll discover how this palace, first intended as a palatial hunting lodge, became a focal point of court life.

After the tour, make your way to the elaborately restored Orangery located on the palace grounds where Mozart once played. Enjoy a concert where the Habsburgs also held extravagant festivities and banquets in one of two of the largest Baroque orangeries in the world. Swoon to the melodies of the orchestra as you marvel at the lavish surroundings of a royal tradition kept alive.

You’ll be enchanted and seduced by the grandeur in an experience that immerses you into the height of the Habsburgs.

On selected days, concerts may take place in the Great Gallery or the White Gold Room located inside Schoenbrunn Palace, at the Schoenbrunn Palace Theater, or in other concert halls in Vienna. As with most of Vienna's historic concert venues, seats are not numbered. The evening staff will be responsible for seating you according to your category. If you have made a group booking, you will be seated together. Please note that the admission to the concert starts 30 minutes before the concert start.

The concert usually takes place at the Schönbrunn Orangery. On selected dates it might take place at the White-and-Gold-Room or at the Great Gallery directly inside the Palace main building. Your Hotelbeds Ticket is your entrance ticket for the Palace Tour and the Concert. Please show it to the employee who will greet you at the entrance of the Schönbrunn Palace.
