6 Days / 5 Nights: From the Eternal City to the Amalfi Coast Tour

Day 1| Welcome to Rome

Welcome to Rome!. Get the ball rolling by checking into your hotel, and then take some time to relax and settle in. You'll have the whole day to explore the Eternal City at your leisure and get your bearings – how exciting!

Day 2| Rome in a day

After a rich breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your driver who will take you to the meeting point with your local foodie guide.

Enjoy a lovely walking tour through local food markets, grocery stores, and gelato shops in the areas of Campo De' Fiori, Trastevere, and the Jewish Ghetto. You can try a slice of freshly baked, crispy "Pizza Bianca" filled with thin slices of freshly cut "mortadella", and a "Supplì", which is a deep-fried tomato sauce risotto ball with mozzarella cheese. Pasta will also be on the menu, along with traditional Roman Jewish dishes like artichokes fried in batter (called "carciofo alla giudia") or fried zucchini flowers (depending on what's in season). Save space for dessert with artisan "gelato" (Italian ice cream)!

After that, meet your driver to go to the Vatican area, where you'll meet your professional guide and take a tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Square. Take a look at the Gallery of Tapestries, the Geographical Maps and Raphael's rooms before you go to the Sistine Chapel, where you will see Michelangelo's amazing artwork. The tour ends with a visit to St. Peter's Basilica (outside). You have time to explore the hidden corners of Rome.

Included: Rome food tour (small group of max 12 people). Private transfers from the hotel to the meeting point (Piazza Farnese corner of Via dei Baullari, 106) and transfer at the end of the tour from Trastevere area to Vatican Museums. Vatican museums tour.

Day 3| Rome to Sorrento

If you dream of visiting some of Italy's most beautiful towns by the sea, join us on this amazing trip to Sorrento, Capri, and Pompeii. Pack your bags and wear comfortable shoes — we'll pick you up in the morning directly from your hotel in the centre of Rome. We will pick you up from hotels in the city centre at 6:30am. We'll be leaving at 7:30am in the morning.

Your adventure begins with a scenic trip from Rome to Sorrento. As we travel, enjoy the beautiful countryside and views along the coast, where the water is very clear and there are hills with citrus trees and nice villages. When you arrive in Sorrento, the jewel of the Amalfi Coast, you'll be enchanted by its vibrant streets, ceramic workshops, and historic churches.

If you're looking for something more adventurous, why not join an optional tour to explore the stunning Amalfi Coast? In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel (smart casual clothes are recommended).

Day 4| Sorrento and Capri*

After breakfast, you will go to Capri Island. Depending on the weather, you'll take a boat ride to the popular and beautiful "Grotta Azzurra" (Blue Grotto), where sunlight passes into an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. After visiting the Blue Grotto, go to the Giardini di Augusto (Gardens of Augustus). These are beautifully landscaped gardens with great views of the famous Faraglioni rock formations and the Marina Piccola bay. It is a great place to take photos and have a relaxing walk.

You'll see wonderful views of the Bay of Naples, and you'll have time to go out for lunch (lunch is not included). After that, you can take some free time to explore Capri at your leisure or go shopping. Then you will return to Marina Grande, before heading back to the mainland and Sorrento for dinner. The tour around Capri Island is available from 1 April to 31 October.

When it's low season, we won't go to Capri. Instead, you'll have breakfast at the hotel and then some free time to go shopping or do other activities.

Included: Round-trip transfer from the hotel to the harbour. Round-trip ferry tickets. Professional guide in Capri. Entrance tickets to Gardens of Augustus and the Blue Grotto.

Day 5| Sorrento, Pompeii and Rome

After breakfast, you'll have some free time to soak in Sorrento's charm one last time. Around 1:15 PM (departure time to be reconfirmed by Tour staff), we begin the final leg of our journey. Accompanied by our expert tour leader, we head to Pompeii, where a professional local guide will take you on an extraordinary walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Discover the remarkably preserved ruins of this ancient Roman city, frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Skip-the-line access, personal earphones, and a radio receiver ensure you won’t miss a single fascinating detail as your guide brings history to life. At the end of the tour, we'll depart for our return journey to Rome,

Day 6| Back to Rome

Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel. The tour concludes leaving you with lasting memories of Italy´s history, scenery and lifestyle from this unforgettable Italian adventure.
