DAY 1 | SNAEFELLSNES PENINSULA ICELAND
We're excited to pick you up at 9am at your hotel or your chosen pick-up point in Reykjavik! Please be aware that the entire pick-up process might take up to 30 minutes, but we're sure it'll be a breeze! Your first stop of the day will be at Borgarnes, a village that's famous for its rich Viking history. Then, we'll head to the stunning golden-sand beach in Ytri Tunga, where you'll get to experience the majestic basalt columns of Gerðuberg.
Your day will continue with a stop at Búðir – a hamlet with breathtaking landscapes of Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Next on the agenda is Arnarstapi, the small and charming fishing village where you’ll be having lunch.
After lunch, you’ll have a chance to wander through Vatnshellir Cave (an optional activity with extra cost), which lies under the ground in Snæfellsnes National Park. The cave is a lava tube tunnel around 8,000 years old. Your certified caving guide will explain its formation and the fascinating features that lie in hidden spots. This experience takes you about as close as you can get to the story of Jules Verne’s book A Journey to the Centre of Earth. For a free alternative, be sure to check out the stunning Malarrif visitor center and its lighthouse, which are both free of charge.
The last attraction of the day is the black sand beach – Djúpalónssandur, where you can see the remains of the shipwreck that dates back to 1948.

DAY 2 | BORGARFJORUR AREA
After breakfast, you'll start your day with a bang by visiting probably the most "photogenic" mountain—Mount Kirkjufell! It's the perfect spot for fans of the TV show Game of Thrones.
Next, we'll make a quick stop in the charming Icelandic town of Grundarfjörður, where you'll have a chance to rest and purchase snacks or other essentials. Then, we'll head to the historic site of Reykholt, where you'll discover the remarkable hot spring pool, Snorralaug.
After that, we'll visit Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring! This hot spring is an absolute marvel, maintaining a constant temperature of 206 degrees Fahrenheit (97 degrees Celsius) and producing an impressive 47.5 gallons (180 litres) of water every second. To top off this incredible day, we'll make our way back to the capital around 6pm, where you'll be staying at a charming hotel.

DAY 3 | THE GOLDEN CIRCLE
Golden Circle is at the centre of our agenda this day. We'll visit Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a complex geological environment. We'll also have a look at the largest lake in Iceland, Thingvallavatn.
Our next stop will be at the incredible Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall. Then we'll continue down the Rind Road to Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. We’ll finish the day off with the Northern Lights if the forecast is good. The beautiful northern lights are a special kind of atmospheric phenomenon that we're lucky to be able to enjoy from September to April. They're not something we can count on, but when they do appear, they're truly a sight to behold! Then, we continue to our hotel close to a small town, Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

DAY 4 | ICE CAVING AND JÖKULSÁRLÓN GLACIER LAGOON
We continue our journey towards Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. In Skaftafell National Park, you will meet our certified glacier guides and embark on a glacier hiking and ice-caving tour on Falljökull. Ice Caves are only found during the wintertime when the glacial rivers retract and the water freezes and they can look completely different every year.

DAY 5 | THE SOUTH COAST ICELAND
We will start early today. On the way back to Reykjavik, close to Vík, we will find Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach, which is also famous for its basalt columns, called Reynisdrangar. If the conditions are right, you can expect a visit to Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon. There are a lot of amazing places on the south coast so we will make some additional stops today before making our way back to Reykjavík between 4pm and 7am.
